51 Breed Street

51 Breed Street is a steeply sloped site on the southern slope of the long hill in the Orient Heights
neighborhood of East Boston. We designed six units of housing with large south facing windows and
breathtaking views of the city.

 

The project is designed to relate to its two bordering streets, so that from either angle it appears in scale with the surrounding buildings. Most dramatic will be the double height living areas and sleeping lofts, with two-story windows and views of the airport, the harbor, and downtown Boston.
